Revell splits its model paints into two families: Email Color enamels in the 32xxx range and Aqua Color acrylics in the 36xxx range, with the two lines sharing color names and standard references. This chart lists all 175 colors we hold across both lines with an accurate swatch, its hex value, and its paint type, ordered by Revell number. Revell numbers do not line up with Citadel, Vallejo or Tamiya, so use the conversion links to move a Revell color into the range you actually paint with.
Email Color (enamel)
Revell Email Color is the solvent-based enamel line, sold in small tins and numbered in the 32xxx range. Many colors are tied to a RAL or RLM standard, which is why the line is a favorite for accurate aircraft, armor, and vehicle finishes. Enamels level smoothly and take weathering well, though they cure slower than acrylics.
Aqua Color (acrylic)
Revell Aqua Color is the water-based acrylic line, sold in pots and numbered in the 36xxx range. The color names and standard references mirror the Email line, so an Aqua color usually has an enamel twin. Acrylics dry fast, clean up with water, and are the easier starting point for brush and airbrush work.
